Ilex International Invests in
UK Post-Brexit Vote
11th October 2016, London
Despite growing concerns over the UK IT security sector post-Brexit, European identity and access management specialist grows its UK operations.
Ilex International, a leading European identity and access management (IAM) firm, has announced its commitment to invest in its UK operation. With 38 percent of IT security professionals concerned that leaving the EU would make the UK more vulnerable to cyber attacks*, many expected European companies to turn their backs on the UK market. However, Ilex International has instead grown its UK presence and entered into a strategic partnership with Cyber Business Growth Ltd and Rivington Information Security.
Ilex International welcomes IT security experts from Cyber Business Growth Ltd to the team with Jamie Murphy acting as UK Country Manager and Steve Mullan as UK Operations Manager. The team will be responsible for UK sales and operations.
“We are delighted to become part of such a dedicated, passionate and customer-focused organisation. Identity and access management has had its challenges in the UK so it’s an exciting time to look at how we can re-engineer the approach we take and work closely with organisations to define what today’s IAM strategy should look like. Ilex International has an innovative approach to simple, scalable and secure identity and access management.”
Jamie Murphy, Managing Director of Cyber Business Growth and Ilex International’s new UK Country Manager
Rivington Information Security, a high calibre information security consultancy and managed security service provider, has also partnered with Ilex in the UK. Headed up by Mick Ebsworth and his team, Rivington Information Security will manage UK IAM implementations for Ilex.
“We are dedicated to providing proven identity and access management solutions across Europe. The fear post-Brexit is not a concern for us; we are more determined than ever to make our mark on the UK identity and access management market and we believe the latest additions to our growing UK team will make this happen.”
Thierry Bettini, Director of International Strategy at Ilex International
